Project Description
Accutome B-Scan Plus
B-Scan ultrasounds use high frequency sound waves from a small probe to obtain a two-dimensional, cross-sectional view of the internal eye structures.
Sound waves reflect off the structures inside the eye and are converted into an image that can be viewed on a screen.
B-scan ultrasound is helpful for diagnosing retinal detachments, vitreous bleeding, tumours of the eye, inflammation, lesions in the eye socket bone, or foreign bodies in the eye.
